Labour Relations Agency retains Bronze Diversity Mark

The Labour Relations Agency has successfully retained the Bronze Diversity Charter Mark in recognition of their ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion within the workplace.

The Diversity Mark is awarded to companies following an independent panel assessment and a ‘mark of progress’ that publicly declares a company has reached the required standard of commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion to benefit all employees.

Don Leeson, the Agency’s Chief Executive says the organisation is committed to diversity and inclusion, as both an employer and in the way we deliver services:

“At the Agency we are dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive organisation for our people. Retaining the Bronze Award accreditation demonstrates our commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where all colleagues can feel valued, safe and respected and creating a positive working environment and culture.  We are also inclusive in our approach to service delivery, seeking to raise awareness of the employment rights of potentially the most vulnerable workers in workplaces.”

The Bronze Diversity Mark is awarded to organisations who show commitment to addressing gender diversity at all levels in their organisation.

Congratulating LRA, Operations Manager at Diversity Mark, Emma Lyttle adds:

“Diversity Mark are delighted that Labour Relations Agency has retained the Bronze Diversity Mark Accreditation for their continuous, commitment and progress to Diversity and Inclusion. Our independent assessment panel applauded Labour Relations Agency for their vibrant and significant progress through an extensive range of actions. Huge congratulations to all the team on this outstanding achievement.”

In addition to this, the Agency has also launched a new EDI strategy which is one of the goals within the Diversity Mark framework, setting out a roadmap for the organisation’s journey. EDI will be integrated within the Agency as they continue to promote good employment practice for the betterment of individuals, organisations and the economy.

Huge congratulations to all the team at Labour Relations Agency on this robust achievement.
