Diversity Mark is delighted to congratulate SONI, Northern Ireland’s electricity Transmission System Operator, on achieving the Diversity Mark Accreditation in recognition of its continued commitment to advancing equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace.
The accreditation is awarded to organisations that demonstrate measurable progress in building and sustaining an inclusive culture. SONI’s submission highlighted meaningful action across key areas including gender, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ inclusion and age.

- Enhanced family leave policies
- Participation in the SistersIN mentoring programme
- Outreach with schools and universities to highlight career opportunities for women in STEM
- Wellbeing days focused on employee health and wellbeing
- Provision of free period products onsite
