Diversity Mark was delighted to partner with Encirc to host a thought-provoking event, bringing together progressive business leaders with companies in attendance including Greentown, Balcas, Mannok, and AG. The discussion reinforced the crucial role of senior leadership in championing diversity and inclusion as a driver for long-term business success.
Encirc’s Managing Director Sean Murphy and Sustainability Director Fiacre O’Donnell co-hosted the event, sharing their own Diversity Mark journey and the benefits of this. Having joined six years ago, Encirc is now working towards achieving the Silver Diversity Mark, demonstrating their continued commitment to building an inclusive and diverse workplace.
With a people-first approach, we explored the opportunities that arise when businesses commit to meaningful Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategies, emphasising that leadership commitment is the key to sustainable cultural change.
Diversity Mark is proud to now represent 1 in 4 employees in Northern Ireland working for an employer committed to our accreditation journey. Our framework provides organisations with the tools to identify and analyse opportunities, then take action whilst being supported by independent assessment, expert feedback, peer support and guidance.
A huge thank you to Encirc for hosting and to all the forward-thinking leaders who joined us.
