We were thrilled to be invited to Deloitte’s Gold Diversity Mark celebration event at the Ewart building in Belfast along with their colleagues and invited guests.
Deloitte are only the third organisation ever to be awarded the Gold Diversity Mark – a tremendous achievement that reflects their ongoing commitment to fostering inclusion, equality, and belonging in the workplace.
The Gold Diversity Mark is a rigorous standard, independently assessed by expert assessors and verified by an independent auditor. To achieve this level, the process must be satisfied that the organisation is a shining light within its sector and the wider community, truly exemplifying best practice in diversity and inclusion.
Having begun their journey with Diversity Mark in 2017, Deloitte have made remarkable progress, developing a wide range of innovative and supportive policies and initiatives that champion all colleagues across their organisation. During the event, Deloitte also shared their seven initiatives that they have worked on as part of their Gold Diversity Mark journey, offering valuable insight into the practical steps they have taken to drive meaningful change.
The event was opened by Deloitte Partner, Kerrie Irvine followed by a panel session with Deloitte diversity leaders Harriet Brennan, Mohammad Saghir and Maira Jahangir and our Director Christine White was delighted to also join the discussion.
It was inspiring to celebrate this milestone with their team and to witness firsthand the impact of their dedication to building a truly inclusive culture.
