Software solutions company, Applied Systems Europe has taken another significant step in their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) journey and commitment to the Diversity Mark.
The Diversity Mark Accreditation is awarded to companies following an independent assessment process which ensures they have reached the required standard of commitment to advancing Diversity and Inclusion.
Applied Systems has focused on three gender-based objectives to support women pursuing careers in tech and foster greater inclusion and diversity across their European offices. Launching a new schools partnership initiative for mentoring female students has been one of the highlights, enabling local teams to engage with young people and support them as they consider their future career paths. The company is implementing a further series of initiatives over the coming 12 months and beyond to meet these objectives and continue making a meaningful impact on diversity and inclusion both within the organisation and throughout the broader industry.
Ketna Makwana, Director, Europe HR at Applied Systems comments on the accreditation:
“We are excited to continue to work with the Bronze Diversity Mark Award. This recognition highlights the importance of nurturing inclusivity and celebrating diversity at Applied.”
The Independent Assessment Panel commended Applied Systems’ dedication to advancing EDI through the ongoing refinement and implementation of an EDI Strategy. One of the ambitious targets set by the software solutions provider is to invest in skills development and attract a diverse range of talent, with the goal of achieving a gender balance of at least 35% female employees by 2029.
Emma Lyttle, Head of Engagement, Diversity Mark:
“Huge congratulations to all the team at Applied Systems on achieving their Diversity Mark Accreditation. We look forward to supporting them as they continue their EDI journey over the coming years.”
