Diversity Mark’s Signatory Alchemy Technology Services were excellent hosts for the latest Executive Breakfast session that took place last week at their Londonderry/Derry offices. The topics ranged from why implementing EDI strategies within your organisation is vital to obtaining and retaining top talent, and the area of living to your values, were discussed.
Erin McFeely, Head of Strategic Initiatives, spoke passionately about how Diversity Mark’s accreditation framework helped Alchemy examine their culture and how to create a workplace for all. Other organisations attending included The City of Derry Airport, FinTrU, and EY. Each attending organisation participated in the boardroom discussions; all committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming workplace environment for their employees.
The Diversity Mark Executive Breakfast sessions are another valuable benefit of becoming a Diversity Mark signatory. The event allows our hosting signatory to highlight their Diversity Mark journey and learn the best practices from other organisations in the area. It also presents a great opportunity to bring in organisations who might be early in their EDI journey. The conversation amongst executive peers helps identify the benefits of establishing an EDI strategy and framework.
