Role Overview


We’re looking for a highly organised and positive Operations Executive to join our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Engagement, you will play a key role in delivering our engagement strategy, supporting our signatory organisations and driving both retention and growth.
A creative and solutions-focused thinker, you’ll bring fresh ideas to enhance how we work and engage with our signatory organisations. As part of our operations team, you’ll be at the centre of activity – coordinating communications, assisting with events, supporting assessments, and ensuring our administrative processes run seamlessly.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to develop their career within a purpose-driven organisation and contribute to a range of impactful projects. As Diversity Mark continues to grow, high-performing individuals in this role will have a clear opportunity to progress into an Operations Manager position within approximately three years.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement Support: Work closely with the Head of Engagement to help deliver the engagement strategy, ensuring signatory organisations and partners feel supported and informed.
Communications: Support signatory communications, including email updates, newsletters, and resources that promote engagement and best practice.
Events & Opportunities: Assist in planning and delivering online and in-person events, workshops, and engagement activities.
Digital & Social Media: Support social media content creation and scheduling, ensuring regular and consistent communication across channels. Keep the Diversity Mark website up to date with news, events, and signatory achievements.
Quarterly Assessment Support: Assist in coordinating the quarterly assessment process, ensuring timelines, documentation, and communications are well managed.
Administration & Operations: Provide general administrative support, assist with reporting processes to track key performance metrics, and support effective debt management and recovery processes.

About You

You’re a team player who takes initiative and learns quickly. You’re organised, creative, and people-focused, with a genuine passion for purpose-driven work. You enjoy bringing fresh ideas to your projects, managing multiple tasks with care, and seeing your work make a difference. You’re motivated by collaboration and love helping others succeed in a positive, team-oriented environment.

Essential Skills & Qualities:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an operations or customer service role, with a strong focus on client satisfaction
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • Fast learner, adaptable to new systems, tools, and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver results both independently and within a team
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Conscientious, dependable, and dedicated to delivering high-quality work
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel may be required

    Desirable:
  • Experience supporting marketing activities, including social media scheduling and content management
  • Confident using digital design tools such as Canva
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) and adaptable to digital tools
  • Experience coordinating or supporting event planning and logistics
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms to manage contacts and track engagement
