Diversity Mark in collaboration with Timely Careers and Belfast City Council’s Business Promise, were proud to deliver a recent event ‘Celebrating the Business Impact of Flexibility, Diversity and Delivery’ event in Belfast City Hall.
With 70 guests, and standing room only, it was proof of just how important the conversation is around these themes for businesses, leaders, people managers, and DEI and HR professionals across our region.
The success of the event was also testament to the panellists’ expertise, knowledge and reputation – Jim Norris from Allstate Northern Ireland, Orla King from Danske Bank and Daniel Hendry from Baker McKenzie brought openness, honesty and very different perspectives on flexible working, inclusion, and organisational culture and engagement.
Ciara Fulton of Lewis Silkin provided expert guidance as panel host to ensure the conversation was both thought-provoking and practical roundtable discussions then brought the room to life – sparking meaningful conversations, sharing challenges, and sharing opportunities for how businesses can truly adapt and embed flexibility and diversity for impact.
The key take away was that flexibility and diversity aren’t just HR policies – they’re powerful drivers of real business value, culture, employee engagement, productivity, well-being and revenue.
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us on Wednesday 1st October for our event at Belfast City Hall. We really hope that everyone enjoyed the event – making new connections, shared experiences, and took away valuable advice from both the panel and roundtable discussions.
