More than 300 business leaders, EDI professionals, and advocates came together last month at Titanic Belfast for the Diversity Mark Annual Summit.
Supported by Allstate Northern Ireland as headline partner, the 2025 Diversity Mark Summit featured a world-class line-up of speakers who travelled to Belfast to share global insights – including Richard Mihalic (Allstate), Michelle Alexis (BBC), Sandra Healy (Inclusio), Rebecca Robins, Five Generations at Work, and broadcaster, journalist, and author Babita Sharma, alongside inspiring local leaders driving change across Northern Ireland and beyond.

Attendees heard from Justice Minister Naomi Long MLA, who reminded delegates that “there is no place in society for intolerance,” and from Christine White, Director of Diversity Mark, who set the tone with “In Every Voice, In Every Step, In Every Success.”
Powerful In My Shoes stories from Lutfur Ali (CIPD), Natasha Boyd (Allstate NI) and Christopher Owens (NIE Networks), CEO reflections from Sara Venning (NI Water), Michael Neill (A&L Goodbody Belfast), and Kieran Harding (Business in the Community UK), and insightful panels on inclusion, ethics, and AI inspired fresh ideas and collaboration. Judith Gillespie, CBE finished the day by reminding us that leadership is not a position — it’s a choice.
