As part of our Inclusive Insights series in partnership with BITC NI and along with Women in Business, we are delighted to invite you to an empowering event focused on supporting women’s fertility in the workplace.

Through expert insights, lived experiences, and practical tools, we’ll explore how employers can create inclusive environments that support menstrual health, fertility treatments, endometriosis, and overall wellbeing.

This interactive session will offer:

  • Panel discussion featuring healthcare professionals, HR leaders, and employees with lived experience and then Roundtable discussions

  • Inclusive Recruitment, Promotion and AllyshipNovember 29, 2023We have Nicola McGuinness in this ‘Lunch n Learn’ session who will talk through the basics of inclusive recruitment from the initial job specification to advertising, interviewing and onboarding, thus ensuring you are doing all you can to attract a diverse talent pool.  
The session will highlight good practices when it comes to retention and advancement of your female talent. Nicola will finish up touching on ‘Allyship’ and the importance of standing up against inequality and supporting and advocating for the underprivileged.
Nicola is an experienced coach and leadership consultant whose mission is to ensure that workplace is an environment where people can create a meaningful impact and gain fulfilment from their role. 
Nicola is deeply passionate about gender equality which has led to her founding and continuing to lead the Lean In Network located in Newry. The organisation has over 400 members. She also delivers EDI programmes through her own business and for Lean In across the world which has resulted in an expanded cultural awareness and understanding of the unique challenges women and under-represented groups face in the workplace.

The Labour Relations Agency provides free, impartial and confidential services to employers, employer bodies, employees and workers in Northern Ireland, as well as Trade Unions, HR and legal professionals. These services include advice on good employment practice and the resolution of workplace disputes through conciliation, mediation, arbitration and independent appeals.

-	The LRA’s equity, diversity and inclusion journey so far
-	An overview of the Agency’s good practice advisory work, with a spotlight on preventing and tackling sexual harassment in the workplace
We will close the event with an audience Q&A session to allow the opportunity for sharing of best practice.
