Equality Commissioner Deborah Donnelly joins Diversity Mark Assessment Panel

Debbie has, over her career, experience in a range of high profile and often contentious areas of public sector policy and she was involved in major programmes of public sector reform on policing, criminal justice and the wider public sector. She has a long history in working on equality and human rights issues, and she is currently a Commissioner with the Equality Commission for NI. Recently she has been working with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Ireland and as an adviser to the EU on women, peace and security strategic plans and evaluation.

She chairs the Board of Ark Housing and during that time she has contributed to the positive change within the organisation which now has in place an ambitious programme and target for growth supported by robust governance arrangements.
